Op 28 oktober 2011 ontving de RAC Hallen de Hillenraad voor het Hortigala 2011. De Hillenraad 100 is een lijst voor de meest toonaangevende bedrijven in de glas en tuinbouwsector. De Dutch Flower Group heeft de nummer één positie op de Hillenraad 100 lijst weten te heroveren op Rijk Zwaan uit De Lier, de winnaar van de afgelopen twee jaar.
Het gala werd gepresenteerd door Stacey Rookhuizen en er werden optredens verzorgd door o.a. Adlicious van X-Factor.

Juffermans Support organised a big Occasion Festival in the RAC Halls in november 2010. This event was organised with the cooperation of 12 car dealers. The result of the festival was that 40% of the cars were sold un Sunday. They made 100 buyers happy with a car. 

In march 2011 the foundation The Hague 2018 held a congres in the RAC Halls. This foundation is carrying a campaign to make The Hague the culteral capitol of Europe in 2018. By being designated Capital of Culture, the Municipality of The Hague aims to give a powerful impetus to the city’s cultural aspirations. In 2013, a jury consisting of Dutch and international experts will decide which Dutch city may carry the title of European Capital of Culture in 2018. Click here for more pictures.

The RAC halls was the set for the photoshoot of the popular band DI-RECT. This band was started in 1999 by 4 teenagers from The Hague. From their start in 1999 onwards, DI-RECT conquered the charts with numerous top 10 hits. In February 2009 singer Tim Akkerman quits DI-RECT to start focusing on a solo career as a singer- songwriter. The search for a new new leadsinger turned out better then they could have dreamed of by finding Marcel Veendendaal. An extraordinaire singer, who gave the band a whole new dimension on a musical and spiritual level. Besides Marcel, longtime friend of the band, and outstanding songwriter, Vince van Reeken joined the band on keys. The RAC Halls was the set for the photoshoot with the international rockband Within Temptation.·Within Temptation have come a long way in the last fourteen years. From their humble beginnings, the Dutch band have now sold over 2.8 million CDs and DVDs world-wide, making them not only Holland’s biggest selling musical export but also one of the biggest rock acts internationally.
