The RAC halls was the set for the photoshoot of the popular band DI-RECT. This band was started in 1999 by 4 teenagers from The Hague. From their start in 1999 onwards, DI-RECT conquered the charts with numerous top 10 hits. In February 2009 singer Tim Akkerman quits DI-RECT to start focusing on a solo career as a singer- songwriter. The search for a new new leadsinger turned out better then they could have dreamed of by finding Marcel Veendendaal. An extraordinaire singer, who gave the band a whole new dimension on a musical and spiritual level. Besides Marcel, longtime friend of the band, and outstanding songwriter, Vince van Reeken joined the band on keys.
