The Industrials
The Hague has finally found a counterpart to the robust industrial locations that are on offer elsewhere, such as the former gas works at Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam and the Van Nelle Ontwerpfabriek in Rotterdam, which was once a tea, coffee and tobacco factory. There are now five such exceptional locations in The Hague, each one unique, and together they are known as 'The Industrials'.
Their special character and architectural style transform these 'industrial' locations into an inspirational environment for organisers looking for new and authentic venues for their events and their visitors. Together, but also individually, 'The Industrials' offer more floor space than was ever previously available in The Hague. For the first time since the loss of the Statenhal, there is now ample opportunity to organise large-scale events in the city.
Teaming up these locations creates a significant synergy effect. The buildings can host almost any conceivable event, no matter how large or small. The mix-and-match approach even allows the organiser to use multiple locations, so facilitating a wide spectrum of activities.
